Sports data provider Sportradar has announced a multi-year data partnership with the Russian Football Premier League (RFPL) in the 2015-2016 season.
The deal allows Sportradar to “collect, archive and distribute official data” to both the media and betting industry. The agreement includes Super Cup and Russian Youth Championship events.
In return, Sportradar will provide the RFPL with content solutions which are available across multiple digital platforms. Sportradar’s Live Sports Centre and its upcoming mobile application offer fans comprehensive and in-depth real-time data visualisation, the company claims.
“We are aware that data, and especially live data, is becoming more and more important and Sportradar will be a great partner for us as we strive to provide our fans with most entertaining and engaging content, no matter where they are or which device they use”, said Sergey Pryadkin, President of the RFPL.
Johannes Ranke, m.d. at Sportradar, said the FIFA World Cup 2018 is only a few years away, and the passion of Russian football fans is growing.
