Ryan Reynolds to star in gambling movie

Another gambling-themed movie will soon start filming in the United States following the signing for the “Mississippi Grind” project of Green Lantern star Ryan Reynolds.

Ryan is set to appear alongside The Dark Knight Rises actor Ben Mendelsohn in the film, which is all about a gambling addict who is in debt and teams up with a younger gambler in the hope of gambling his way out. The duo set off on a road trip across the southern US in search of games in which they hope to make big money.

Mississippi Grind is the product of the creative input of writer directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, who most recently created Half Nelson and It’s Kind Of A Funny Story.
