Malaysian police in the Sarawak province have reported extensive anti-online gambling raids over the past week which have resulted in the arrest of 84 individuals in 42 separate venue raids.
State CID chief, Datuk Dev Kumar M.M. Sree Shunmugam said that sixty four of those detained were males and that a significant number of computers and other evidential property had been seized in the police operations.
“The operation against gambling in the state will continue,” he said.
