Saskatchewan horse punters bet online

Saskatchewan punters and four other Canadian provinces will be able to place bets on their favourite horses to win over the internet while watching the broadcast live online at no charge, the Marquis Downs racecourse announced this week.
The new offering will be operated by North American horse racing service HorsePlayer Interactive.
“It is a big initiative,” said racing manager Rick Fior. “It’s something we’d thought about in the past, but our fields hadn’t been quite large enough to pursue it.”
Marquis Downs is counting on the products to bring in more awareness and revenue to the racecourse.
