SBObet adds Southhampton to its football sponsorship list

Asian-facing online betting firm SBObet continued its English Premier League football sponsorship spree this week with a three year deal with Southampton FC, bringing to five the clubs with which it will be associated in coming seasons.

The Isle of Man licensed company, headed by former regulator Bill Mummery, has previously announced deals with Norwich City, Hull City, Swansea City and West Ham United .

Football sponsorships are growing in popularity with online gambling groups, with recent signings including Paddy Power and Arsenal, whilst Bwin.Party recently announced a string of deals with top European football clubs.
