SBTech om content deal with Quickspin

News on 8 Feb 2016

SBTech has signed-up for suite of games from Stockholm-based developer Quickspin.

Quickspin’s portfolio will be rolled-out through SBTech’s Chameleon360 gaming platform and its mobile vehicle SBTech Touch.

Chief executive officer Itai Zak believes Quickspin games’ tailored free rounds and feature triggers will be helpful in reactivating and retaining customers.

“Quickspin’s games are among the best on the market and we’re pleased that we can now offer them to our customers too,” Zak said.

SBTech carries an impressive games offer from top providers including Microgaming, NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Kiron Interactive and Betsoft Gaming, and has had a strong start to 2016 with numerous new client sign-ups and content supply deals (see previous reports).

In related news, Zak is reportedly stepping down in March 2016 to make way for new leadership providing fresh outlook and ideas despite successfully leading the company during its significant expansion over the recent past.

Zak will be replaced by Deutsche Bank analyst Richard Carter, a move which industry observers surmise may indicate the company is considering a merger, IPO or acquisition.
