SBTech ups internal compliance know-how

Sports betting and technology igaming supplier SBTech has partnered SMP eGaming’s Compliance Academy to train staff on regulatory and compliance issues.

SBTech employees will gain access to SMP’s CPD-accredited interactive platform to expand and maintain high standards of compliance across all new and existing markets it operates in.

Jeremie Kanter, SB Tech’s chief compliance officer, who joined the firm in November 2018, believes it is vitally important to impart ongoing knowledge, awareness and learning in such a fast-moving and changeable area across the 20 regulated markets in which the company operates.

“Regulatory training is paramount to all areas of the business, and we want to ensure that all our employees understand the importance of compliance in order to create a successful internal culture.

“Compliance is an enabler to sustainability and achieving even more success, and the partnership with SMP will help us to grow and expand our reach and reinforce this across the company.”
