Scientific Games clinches Baha Mar deal

Scientific Games Corporation will provide the new $3.5 billion Baha Mar Casino & Hotel Caribbean resort with a range of solutions across multiple platforms following an extensive evaluation and bidding process.

Gaming solutions will cover systems, games, table products, and interactive to drive entertainment, transform customer service, increase operating efficiency, and provide end-to-end casino and slot-management solutions, the company said.

“Scientific Games is an important technology partner to our casino resort, helping us accelerate the services for our gaming operations that will enable us to run our business efficiently while delivering an engaging customer experience,” said Paul V. Pusateri, chief operating officer of Baha Mar.

Working in partnership with Baha Mar, Scientific Games Interactive will provide the casino with its full SG Universe suite, anchored by the company’s mobile concierge app.

SG Universe combines Scientific Games’ Play4Fun social gaming network with on-property real-money mobile wagering and mobile concierge features into a single integrated and casino-branded mobile application.

“We are tremendously excited that Baha Mar will be the first land-based casino to leverage our robust SG Universe product suite,” said Scientific Games Interactive President Jordan Levin.
