Scientific Games nets extension to Italian scratch and win license

Scientific Games Corporation’s joint venture Lotterie Nazionali S.r.l., the exclusive manager of the Italian scratch and win Gratta e Vinci, has been awarded a nine-year contract extension for the Italian Scratch and Win concession by Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (AAMS).

Lotterie Nazionali S.r.l. will need to cough up an upfront fee of Euro 800 million which will be paid in three instalments for the concession extension.

Payments are expected to be funded by the joint venture partners and pro-rated based on their respective ownership percentage.   Scientific Games owns 20 percent of Lotterie Nazionali S.r.l.
