The UK and Ireland facing online sports betting and e-gaming operator Seaniemac has chosen Cadiz-based software development firm Optima to set up its new multi-channel gaming platform, the company announced in a statement Wednesday.
The agreement includes the provision of the Margin Maker 2 system and the setup of new web and mobile front-end products.
Seaniemac chief operating officer Gareth Core described Optima as one of the world’s leading sportsbetting and gaming platform providers in the statement, saying that the agreement represents a major development for Seaniemac’s business and illustrates its intent to become an industry leader.
“This is a big move for us and will put us firmly on the map. It will allow us full flexibility over what we can do and enable us to offer our customers more value, a superb desktop and mobile user experience and to take full control of our growing operation,” he said.
Jacob Curciel, CEO and founder of Optima, said:
“We are very excited at having the opportunity to work with Seaniemac for the setup of a dedicated full Optima sportsbetting and e-gaming multichannel suite. Seaniemac has the drive and the know-how around the sportsbetting and gaming business required to be a market leader in the industry, and Seaniemac teams through the process of selecting their new platform have demonstrated they know about this business.
“At Optima, through the delivery of a turn-key platform, we will make available the technology and products for Seaniemac to achieve its strategic objectives.”
