The Senet Group has expanded its code to include social media with the addition of new commitments for its members.
Members are now required to carry prominent responsible gambling messages on the home-pages of their major social media sites, as well as on all other web and social applications. They are also expected to include regular stand-alone Senet advertisements in their Twitter feeds.
“It’s important that operators are socially responsible in the way that they promote gambling, whatever channels they use. These new commitments are designed to uphold that principle in light of changing patterns of media usage,” commented chair of The Senet Group, Wanda Goldwag.
