The Board of directors of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) has completed vetting the eight expressions of interest it received regarding the sale of a 33 percent state in OPAP (Hellenic Football Prognostics Organization).
Seven of the eight submissions have fulfilled the Fund’s criteria and will move forward to the next stage of the tendering process, the HRADF informed. Those moving forward are:
– BC Partners
– Emma Delta Ltd, a fund advised by Emma Delta Management Ltd which is beneficially owned by Jiri Smejc (66,7 percent) and George Melisanidis (33,3 percent)
– Consortium of Gauselmann AG (55 percent), Playtech Ltd (41 percent) and Helvason Ltd (4 percent)
– Consortium of Intralot Holdings Luxemburg S.A. (34 percent) and Intralot Investments Ltd (66 percent)
– Primrose Treasure Limited subsidiary of Fosun international
– Third Point LLC
– TPG Capital
Triple Five World Group Properties Limited will not participate in the next phase of the tender process.
HRADF’s board of directors will approve the documents of the second phase of the tender leading to the submission of binding financial offers in its next session, date unknown.
