SHFL acquitted by Macau court

Gaming supplier SHFL Entertainment (Asia) Limited was acquitted by the Macau First Instance Court regarding a claim on patent infringement.

The complaint made by Jay Chun alleged a violation of a patent related to terminal betting on live baccarat .

“We are very pleased that the Court has found no patent infringement by SHFL Macau.  We have consistently maintained that our Rapid Baccarat solution does not infringe Mr. Chun’s patent,” said Ken Jolly, SHFL Macau’s Executive Vice President of Asia.
