Online gaming firm Betclic Everest has announced the departure of Nicolas Béraud as chief executive officer of the group effective end September 2011. Béraud has reportedly accepted Betclic Everest’s invitation to join its board of directors according to an iGaming France report.
Béraud’s replacement has been named as Ignacio Martos (53), filling the position effective October 1, 2011. Martos joins from a position of chief executive officer of the Amadeus IT Group’s online travel agency Opodo, prior to which he founded Rumbo a leading online travel company active in Spain and Latin America.
Betclic Everest Board of Directors said: “Under the leadership of Nicolas Béraud, BetClic Everest Group has successfully developed its range of sites, sports betting and online games. Today we are pleased to welcome a new Internet professional to accelerate the growth of our brands, consolidate and strengthen our positions in France and Europe.”
