The organisers of ICE Totally Gaming have announced that this year’s Pitch ICE award for innovation has gone to 1SpinMillionaire, a “simple proposition” that offers free 1SpinMillionaire tickets with every bet on a game on a participating website.
The lottery and jackpot retention start-up had previously won the EiG Launchpad award last October, again despite tough opposition.
Martin Cagalinec, chief executive and founder at 1SM, was pleased that his company has again been recognised for innovation in the industry.
“This prize encourages us to keep working hard, innovate and bring additional value to our customers. Many thanks to all voters and also to the whole team of GamCrowd for the support,” he said in a statement.
Chris North, chief executive of GamCrowd which alongside Clarion Gaming helped put together the Pitch ICE event, said the fact that 1SpinMillionaire had scooped the prize again was testament to how much the audience thought of its idea.
“It is a great credit to 1SpinMillionire and its founder Martin Cagalinec that he has put together a slick presentation and has an idea which really catches the imagination of people when they hear it explained at pitch events like this,” he said.
