The UK online gambling software provider OpenBet announced Tuesday that it has renewed its licence, development and support agreements with operator Sky Betting & Gaming.
The terms of the agreement require OpenBet to continue providing Sky Betting & Gaming with its online and mobile sports betting platform for a further five years.
The operator has full independence to innovate and differentiate by building its own customer interfaces on the OpenBet platform, and the partnership has allowed the two firms to build on key strengths and the achievement of record operational performances by Sky Betting & Gaming.
The deal extends the companies’ long-term relationship; OpenBet has supplied the Leeds-based operator since it was formed in 2001.
Richard Flint, CEO of Sky Betting & Gaming, said: “OpenBet has been an integral component of our business since day one. Against ever-changing regulatory frameworks and fast-moving technological developments they continue to deliver. The OpenBet platform gives us the flexibility to create a first class sports book that fits our brand and our players’ needs.”
