Sky Betting dependence and commitment to big data has again been illustrated by the group’s GBP 3 million investment this week to create 34 new roles within its Leeds-based Data Tribe.
Hires include new heads of data, IT, and marketing tech, along with two group platform managers, two marketing technology managers and other positions in technology, marketing and customer relationship positions.
“The need to use data in new and innovative ways is growing exponentially and Leeds has considerable expertise in these areas,” said gaming technology and betting director Rik Barker this week.
“Our investment in these new roles demonstrates our continued ambition to be leaders in the field, as well as allowing us to push further into some really exciting developments around propensity modelling, streaming and real-time decisioning that will give our customers even greater experiences across all our products.”
