Skyrocket appoints Martin as chairman

News on 18 Sep 2018

Skyrocket Entertainment, a company launched earlier this year to acquire exclusive rights to feature films for use in games development (see previous report) has announced the appointment of industry veteran Graham Martin as its chairman.

Martin has wide management experience with Bonne Terre, the operator that became Sky Bet, and Probability Games Corporation.

Skyrocket founders Sean O’Kelly and Richard Clarke took the opportunity to reveal that the company has already acquired the exclusive gaming rights to 75 feature films, with more to follow soon, and is now engaged in game development and signing up operational partnerships.

O’Kelly claims that the company has signed several agreements with operators and platform providers, and will have its first games live by the first quarter of 2019 with themes ranging from comedy to war drama.

He said these will probably be previewed at the ICE Totally Gaming expo early next year. The range of game types will include social and real money games with slots, instant games, bingo and lotto.
