The development of online gambling in Delaware continued at a snail’s pace in November, the state lottery has revealed, showcasing overall online gambling revenues down slightly month-on-month at $182,664 (October 2015: $182,969).
The video lottery contributed 54 percent of revenues at $98,5730 (down 10 percent month-on-month), it should be noted, however, and online poker suddenly perked up after a mediocre performance in preceding months, rising 21 percent month-on-month to reach $28,985.
However, from a year-on-year perspective, online poker has not fared well in Delaware, and is down 8.3 percent when compared to November 2014’s $31,610.
Online casino revenue from table games totalled $55,105 – up 11.6 percent from October 2015 when revenues came in at $49,382
The encouraging new player sign-ups – 434 in October this year – fell disappointingly in November to 381 – a 12.2 decline but still the highest so far in 2015.
