The Global iGaming Summit & Expo always delivers a slew of interesting news items, and the eleventh edition currently ongoing in San Francisco has been no exception, with social gaming company Slingo being the latest to announce its plans.
Chief executive Rich Roberts revealed that he is negotiating with a number of European companies, including Playtech and GTechG2, with a view to offering his company’s products on a non-exclusive basis in the UK for real money as early as summer 2012.

Roberts is on record as being keen to see legalised real money online gambling in the United States, which will open up further opportunities for his popular product.
Launched on Facebook by Zynga in February this year, Slingo is already among the most popular downloads and clearly has considerable mass player appeal, with a reported 17.2 million users every month
