The Danish online bookmaker Bet25 has signed a comprehensive sponsorship deal with Danish football club Brøndby IF, embracing shirt sponsorship, match streaming via the Bet25 website, youth team broadcasts, a stadium visual presence and wifi installation at the team’s home ground.
The deal comes into effect immediately, and Bet25 has the option to extend over the next two years.
A spokesman for TDC, the parent company for Bet25, said the stadium arrangements should be in place before the end of this year.
Jesper Jørgensen, chief executive of Brøndby, said: “This is much more than a so-called main sponsor agreement. We have been in the market to find a partner that would not only support Brondby economically, but also provide value for Brøndby in relation to culture, know-how and image. We have now succeeded, and [the agreement] is an important milestone for our project.”
Brøndby was fourth on the Danish Superliga leaderboard last season.
