Belarusian software developer cracks Alderney certificate

The Belarusian online gambling software developer, Viaden Gaming has announced its successful application to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) for a software supplier certificate.
The certificate enables Viaden  to supply Alderney’s licensed internet gambling operators with its 3D and HD gaming offerings, which include casino and poker software.
Viaden has also signed its first Alderney-based client, Marathonbet. One of Russia’s largest online sports betting companies, Marathonbet has recently licensed in Alderney as part of a strategy to target the UK market.
The northernmost Channel Island is a popular base for online gambling operators, due in part to its ability to utilise servers located on the neighbouring island of Guernsey; these offer almost unlimited capacity, with levels of resilience and performance comparable to mainland capital city IT infrastructure, a Viaden spokesperson said this week.
“We are delighted to have been awarded our AGCC licence and to have signed Marathonbet,” the spokesperson said. “The Russian sports specialist is just one of a number of high-profile operators working within the Alderney jurisdiction that will benefit from our online gaming software. We look forward to building our working relationship with this company and many others.”
Viaden Gaming recently launched in the UK with its fully HD and 3D for-money casino software, which has already been acquired by several major online gaming operators. The casino app has been specifically developed for use on Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
