Alternative betting exchange provider SpiffX has continued its penetration of the African sports betting market following a content supply agreement with Intelligent Gaming of South Africa, which owns the successful pan-African Supabets chain.
SpiffX CEO Lennart Gillberg said in a statement announcing the agreement that the Supabet deal represented a step forward for his company as a business-to-business supplier in the rapidly growing African sports betting market.
The Supabet deal follows earlier African success by SpiffX in content agreements with Kenya-based Cheza Gaming (see previous reports).
Intelligent Gaming director Marc Plaxton-Harrison said:
“When we saw the SpiffX product we felt it would be a winner and a perfect fit for our affiliate operators in Africa, especially Supabets, which operates in multiple countries and with a prominent focus on soccer betting.
“Supabets believes this product will be a massive draw card to acquire new players and a great retention tool for its existing base who are soccer mad. Supabets has pioneered many new products in the African market, and will continue to do so with Intelligent Gaming and SpiffX.”
