Spike Games has entered into a licensing agreement to develop digital content featuring rock icon Alice Cooper and his “Schools out for Summer” hit song.
Cooper, whose career spans five decades, is famed for his bad-boy attitude, outlandish makeup and stage shows featuring guillotines, electric chairs, and the like.
The new game has been developed in HTML5 for mobile, tablet and PC, hosted on the SpikeRGS, and available for licence and distribution in this first quarter of 2016.
Alice Cooper is a huge deal worldwide, he’s as popular in China as he is in his hometown,” Rob Anderson, founder of Spike Games, said. “What attracted us most was how visually stunning Alice Cooper is. Everyone instantly knows the band when they see the famous one of a kind Alice Cooper makeup.
“School’s out as a song has a timeless chorus and guitar riffs known by everyone young and old.”
Spike Games was founded by serial entrepreneur Anderson who most recently sold his start-up mobile gaming firm Alchemybet to Gaming Realms for an undisclosed amount.
