Sportech awarded tote Ireland contract

Following a competitive bid process Sportech PLC’s Racing and Digital division has been awarded a new contract with Tote Ireland for an initial five years plus five further one-year options.

The two companies have a long history with Sportech having served as the Tote’s technology and service provider since 1999.

Under the terms of the newly awarded contract, Sportech Digital and Racing will strengthen and expand Tote Ireland’s suite of pari-mutuel betting technologies and services which are deployed by the twenty-six horse racing tracks in Ireland.

Enhancements and upgrades to the Tote’s Quantum System will deliver more features and functionality to Irish punters. In addition, Sportech will continue to provide support to the Tote systems under a logistics, service and maintenance agreement.
