Sportech signs up two more U.S. race courses

Sportech Racing and Digital has inked further US deals to deliver land-based and digital betting technologies to the Lincoln and Horsemen’s Park race courses in Nebraska…both operated by Omaha Exposition and Racing.

Under the terms of the agreement Sportech becomes the racecourses’ new tote provider to deliver pari-mutuel betting services through the company’s Sportech Quantum System software, Quantum Data Center services, and BetJet series wagering devices.

Patrons of both racecourses will also have access to the new Digital Link mobile suite, which features patented digital voucher functionality, and the Sportech Tablet for dedicated self-service account wagering.

“We were impressed by the overall quality of Sportech’s tote system, data centres, and digital wagering technologies and we are looking forward to offering our players a significant upgrade in their wagering experience, with mobile and tablet wagering that will make visiting Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course even more enjoyable,” Omaha Exposition and Racing vice-president of racing, Gregory Hosch, said Friday.
