Sportech wins Ellis Park pari mutuel contract

Sportech’s Racing and Digital division has become Kentucky racecourse Ellis Park’s new pari mutuel betting provider, another significant deal on the back of similar with Kentucky Downs.

In addition, patrons of Ellis Park will enjoy betting technology upgrades to self service terminals and wireless account betting.

“We evaluated our options and were impressed with Sportech Racing and Digital’s technology, their track record, and their independence,” Ron Geary, president of Ellis Park said.

Sportech will begin tote services for Ellis Park in January 2017 through its Quantum™ System.
