Sporting Index has followed 888 and other online betting companies in taking advantage of Google’s more lenient policy on gambling apps and offering its Android spread betting product on Google Play Store, claiming to be the first to offer the product in this format.
The recently rebranded Sporting Group has extended its digital reach following Google’s decision to drop a long-standing ban on gambling and betting apps on the store.
The newly-designed app offers spread betting at the player’s fingertips and on the move, combining the world of sports with spread betting. The app synchronizes automatically with the desktop version, meaning personal preferences, such as favourite categories, will be instantly available upon log-in via mobile, desktop and tablet.
Jamie Adams, product manager at Sporting Index, said: “We’ve been fully focused on improving and developing the technological side of the company, so we’re pleased to be able to expand our reach with the new Android app [which is] just the start of a number of new innovations in the pipeline.”
