Sportingbet Australia entered into a major sponsorship deal with the Melbourne Racing Club this week.
The sponsorship entitles Sportingbet to the naming rights of Sandown Racecourse which will become Sportingbet Park, additional sponsorship commitments including the Sportingbet Sandown Cup, strong marketing presence and race sponsorships at the Club’s flagship track, Caulfield and being named exclusive Corporate Bookmaker Sponsor of the Club.
Alasdair Robertson, chief executive of Melbourne Racing Club said: “The relationship with Sportingbet has been outstanding and the Club is delighted to be able to grow that relationship further through this enhanced sponsorship.”
Sportingbet Australia chief executive officer Michael Sullivan commented: “Sportingbet will contribute over A$ 5 million to the Victorian racing industry alone next year in product fees and sponsorship.”
