Sportium expands into fantasy sports

Spanish betting operator Sportium has launched Fantasy Sportium, claiming to offer the first product of its kind in the Spanish market.

“We are the only brand in Spain that currently offers a product of this type, being the pioneer in uniting sports betting with Fantasy games in a unique game concept,” said Alberto Eljarrat, chief executive of Sportium, said.

Fantasy Sportium provides customers the opportunity to select and bet on the winner of a daily series of clashes between two players competing in a points duel in which scores are based on LaLiga statistics.
