Sports and betting data provider Sportradar has partnered with the British Basketball League (BBL) as preferred betting data partner for the 2014/15 season.
BBL is the premier men’s professional basketball league in the United Kingdom representing 13 teams from England and Scotland who compete for the national title during the regular season and post-season Play-offs, as well as for the BBL Cup and the BBL Trophy.
BBL commercial director, David Leyden Dunbar said: “This is such a positive news story at the beginning of the 2014/15 Season, where we’ve been able to deliver a partnership which all BBL fans can benefit from instantly. This season we’ve strived to improve BBL TV’s output but the addition of 15 extra live games has only been made possible through Sportradar’s investment and support.”
In a second deal, Sportradar partnered up with Nigel Oldfield Sports Promotions (NOSP) who own the rights of and organise the “Grand Prix of Bowls”.
Sportradar has secured all audiovisual, data and sponsorship rights to the competition, saying: “The live production of Bowls events will further extend Betradar’s turn-key live betting solutions and opens up a great opportunity to build a new market for the service”.
