The little known Montenegro-licensed online sports betting operator Jojobet.com has signed up for a year sponsorship of World Poker’s Gibraltar Open tournament, an announcement by World Snooker revealed this week.
The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but it believed to include the usual sponsorship publicity, brand exposure and social media provisions, and the competition will be titled the Jojobet.com Gibraltar Open.
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said in a statement announcing the deal:
“The Jojobet.com Gibraltar Open will receive extensive coverage across the continent on Eurosport. It will be a top-class event and we look forward to working with the Jojobet team at this tournament and in the coming years.”
Jojobet offers betting in several currencies and languages, and appears to be focused on the European, Russian and Turkish markets.
