Sports betting technology provider boosts Spanish exposure

Sports betting technology provider Power8 has secured an agreement giving it the naming rights to Spanish Liga football club Espanyol’s stadium for the next seven years.

Espanyol’s Estadi Cornella-El Prat will now be known as the Power8 Stadium, a company spokesman said this week, adding that the firm will additionally receive substantial exposure through branding rights within the stadium.

Power8 has previously enjoyed sponsorship relationships with UK football clubs like Everton and Fulham throughout the 2013-14 English Premier League campaign.
