Thai police shutter two online gambling operations

Thai police officers in the Bang Pakong district shut down two illegal online gambling operations Friday, arresting 10 South Koreans and 1 Chinese national.

Police spokesman Maj Gen Theerapol Jindaluang, told a media briefing that the illegal online betting activity was operated from two residential properties and involved accepting wagers on football placed mainly by punters located in South Korea.

The raiding parties seized 11 notebook computers, 32 desktop PCs, annd other evidence.
