Tip for online gambling marketers

Speaking at the 2013 Mobile and Tablet Gaming Summit in London this week, Twitter’s Dara Nasr gave delegates a few tips on improving their marketing penetration.

He singled out Paddy Power and Betfair as especially adept at powering up their advertising by using the social networking channel, and recommended that online gambling marketers who launch advertising campaigns can boost the results by integrating the advertising and Youtube effort with an initiative on Twitter.

The link between television and Twitter is very clear, Nasr said. Sixty percent of Twitter users watch television while tweeting and “more than 90 percent” of online discussion about television is on Twitter.

Combining television advertising with Twitter engagement can increase brand exposure by 95 percent, Nasr claimed.
