The German sports betting operator Tipbet has announced that it has extended its choice of betting products by adding eSports, with both online and retail facilities for punters wishing to bet on eSports competitions.
Tipbet m.d. Bahadir Malkoc described eSports as a “young and exciting project” in a company statement Thursday that expressed faith in a good future for eSports and an intention to be part of the genre’s success.
Initially, the company will accept bets on competitions and events featuring popular games like League of Legends, Starcraft II, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Defence of the Ancients, including live betting on major matches.
The company website will also carry livestream broadcasts of big events and matches in collaboration with eSports League and Sportradar.
