Australian sports betting provider TopBetta Holdings Limited has agreed a revenue-share, licencing deal with International Racing Data Limited (IRD) authorising its UK subsidiary, The Global Tote (TGT), to distribute customised products including Fixed Odds, Fixed Odds Exotics and a range of Racing Informatics as well as Tote derivative products to wagering operators in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
It is something we have been looking at for a long time, to get The Global Totes wholesale business able to be a one-stop shop for the global distribution of racing products, TopBetta Managing Director, Todd Buckingham, said.
The deal, which covers all thoroughbred, harness and greyhound events, will initially concentrate on all forms of Australian racing to complement the distribution deals The Global Tote already has.
In related news, TopBetta advised the successful completion of the technical integration of The Global Tote with Ladbrokes Australia (see previous reports), however, the Northern Territory Racing Commission has rejected the commercial agreement between the two companies in its current format. The agreement will be revised and resubmitted for approval.
Ladbrokes Chief Executive Officer, Jason Scott said: Ladbrokes is committed to working with The Global Tote and is in a position to go live once regulatory approval is confirmed.
