Touchstone, founded in 2008, develops land based skill games, slots, table games and virtual horse racing and its newly-signed collaboration with Odobo will now enable the studio to expand its titles to the online gaming sector.
Odobo’s Developer program provides developers HTML5 tools and services optimising game titles for play across mobile, tablet and desktop via iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and other operating systems.
Touchstone titles such as “Lucky Gems”, based on Pachinko and Bagatelle mechanics, will now be exposed to an online real-money-play audience.
Rob Smith, Legal and Business Affairs Manager at Odobo, said, “Taking well-loved games and adding the thrill of a real-money wager makes perfect sense. Touchstone Games is experienced and successful in land-based gaming and we’re honored that the team has chosen Odobo to bring its first game online.”
“We chose Odobo for our first venture into iGaming because the Developer Program allows us to concentrate on the game build while Odobo handles everything else,” added Julian Mudd, spokesperson for Touchstone Games. “This is important for a small but passionate team and will ensure we can deliver an exciting and high-quality HTML5 game.”
