Thursday morning, October 25 will see the fruition of a collaborative agreement between William Hill US and Atlantic City’s Tropicana Casino as the latter starts its new sports betting service under a New Jersey licence issued by regulator Division of Gaming Enforcement.
The Tropicana inked a deal with William Hill US in September (see previous report) to offer sports betting. William Hill also runs sports books at the Ocean Resort Casino and Monmouth Park racetrack in New Jersey.
Associated Press reports that sports betting will be offered from 11 am today (Thursday) in Tropicana’s North Tower casino, with sports betting kiosks throughout the property.
The development leaves the Hard Rock and Caesars as the only Atlantic City casinos yet to offer sports betting, though Caesars is served by the sports book at its adjacent casino property, Bally’s.
Hard Rock has expressed interest in offering sports betting but has not yet received approval to do so in New Jersey.
