Turkey awards Iddaa-sporttoto tender to Scientific Games consortium

Turkey has awarded a 10-year concession for the management and expansion of Iddaa-SporToto to Sans Girism OGG, a consortium comprising local Demirören Group and Scientific Games.

The award follows a competitive tender in which the final decision came down to which of two companies, Sans Girism and former concession holder Intelek (comprising Intralot and local telecom provider Turkcell), would take the lowest commission.

Both firms were given the opportunity to revise their proposed commission rates during the tender process.  Sans Girism finally submitted 0.2 percent and Intelek 0.5 percent, more than half of the previous concession that Intelek earned (1.4 percent) on the previous contract.
