Tabcorp’s US-based subsidiary, Sky Racing World, which distributes southern hemisphere racing to the Americas, has announced an extended partnership with California-based television and horserace wagering website TVG that has already started to deliver increased TV coverage of Australian racing on TVG and TVG2.

Sky Racing World provides Australian horse-racing content for simulcast wagering to the TVG.com ADW brand and under the expanded partnership, the TVG networks will air full-card coverage of top-tier Australian races on the key regional race nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Available on all TVG carriage platforms, including AT&T U-Verse 672, DIRECT TV and Dish Network 398, the new coverage will also be accessible to TVG account holders online via TVG.com/live.

TVG’s Australian coverage will be presented by TVG International Racing Coordinator Candice Hare accompanied by additional talent for major meets. Three Australian race meetings will feature each night, with an in-depth focus on the evening’s feature race. Hare and her co-presenters will provide detailed analysis on the field and past performances of horses, jockeys and trainers.

Immediately imminent coverage includes the G1 Australian Cup and G1 Lexus Newmarket Handicap from Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne and the G1 Coolmore Classic from Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens.

Upcoming broadcasts will include the G1 George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill Gardens March 17th, featuring the world’s best turf horse Winx, the Golden Slipper, also March 17th at Rosehill, and The Championships at Royal Randwick Racecourse on March 31st and April 7th, culminating in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

TVG’s new Australian coverage will be complemented by promotions on the TVG.com ADW. TVG’s expanded Australian coverage will be supported by Sky Racing World’s website, which features free form guides, past performances and latest Australian racing news.

“As a major ADW partner, TVG has been key to growing our flagship Australian racing product in North America, so we’re excited to expand our partnership with their new Australian racing TV coverage,” said David Haslett, president and CEO of Sky Racing World.

“We look forward to the new broadcasts raising North American interest in Australian racing during the current Sydney Autumn Carnival, and beyond.”

Betfair US owns the Los Angeles-based TVG, and also operates 4NJ-BETS and Betfair Casino in New Jersey.
