Australian gaming company Two Way has signed a three-year revenue sharing deal with smart TV manufacturer LG Electronics Australia (LGE) that will see the distribution of its TV sports betting service on LGE’s range of smart TV’s, Blue-ray players and home theatre systems.
Two Way has entered into exclusive deals with Australian operators Sportingbet Australia and Betfair to build and operate TV wagering services, the development of which is at an advanced stage and due for launch around March 2012.
The applications to be deployed on LGE devices will allow punters to place bets using their remote control on all sports events broadcast by free-to-air TV, pay TV, or any form of IPTV.
In related news, the company has expanded its TV wagering service in Queensland and South Australia with the provision of fixed odds betting, following regulatory approval. The service previously only allowed tote odds betting.
Both tote odds betting and fixed odds betting are now available through the service in Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
