Britain’s independent Health Lottery has upped the competitive ante with the introduction of a new low cost lottery ticket that carries a jackpot of GBP 25,000.
Quick Pick 50p tickets will go on sale this week, with the first draw taking place on Friday. Thereafter draws will take place every Tuesday and Friday, whilst punters can still gamble on the Health Lottery’s regular GBP1 game for a crack at a jackpot of GBP 100,000.
Stan Myerson, group joint m.d. of Health Lottery owner Northern and Shell, said Monday:
“Building on our success we wanted to make The Health Lottery even more affordable, to increase on the GBP 90 million pounds that has already been won.
“No one else has a game at this price point and we are proud to continue to innovate in the market.”
Since it began, The Health Lottery has raised a total of over GBP 60 million for British health charities and local good causes.
