The Icelandic eSports fantasy competition organiser Fanaments has boosted its Malta gambling licence with one from the UK Gambling Commission, clearing the way for it to arrange football, basketball, golf and mixed martial arts-based online contests for UK fantasy fans.
Fanaments is a relatively new operator and offers gamers an array of fantasy-based sports to compete on including European-oriented competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, and La Liga.
The company also covers wider sports activity such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship, NBA basketball, and PGA golf, allowing punters to choose a different fantasy team every game day.
Whilst daily fantasy sports websites are extremely popular in the US, the trend has only recently caught on in Europe, and Fanaments is hoping to turn this fresh market to its advantage.
