Shock news from Florida is that Merkur Gaming exec and industry veteran Jens Halle (58) passed away suddenly as a result of a chest infection earlier this week.
Merkur parent group Gauselmann Gaming issued a statement yesterday (Thursday) advising that Halle had died “suddenly and unexpectedly” on Wednesday in a Florida hospital.
Halle was married and he and his wife Marietta have a son at university in the States. His career included management positions with Bally and Novomatic, where he rose to the position of CEO of American sales before his move as CEO to Merkur, where he has been building a presence in the Latin American market.
