Unibet and Genesis team up for Mystic Monkeys launch

Online gambling games developer Genesis Gaming and operator Unibet teamed up Thursday to launch the Mystic Monkeys slot, a multi-featured five-reel, 50-line game.

In a statement, Unibet claimed its Triple Play launch of Mystic Monkeys in Flash, HTML5 and Native formats in both the Unibet desktop and mobile Casino at the same time represents an industry first.

By providing all three delivery options simultaneously, Unibet says it offers a consistent player experience across all three channels, and players can enjoy the same game in different contexts, at their desk, in a mobile browser or from a smartphone application.

“We are pleased to achieve this significant milestone. By making game releases live simultaneously on all our Casino channels, it creates a better experience for our players. Once they hear about a new game, they can play the game on their preferred channel, or on all three. Players appreciate the convenience of finding new games available in all our Casino channels,” said Daniel Eskola, head of gaming at Unibet.

The theme for Mystic Monkeys sees three playful wise monkeys under the watchful eye of Buddha. Three to five Scatters will trigger the Mystic Monkey Free Spins where one of the monkeys acts as an additional sticky wild with the Buddha to generate bigger and more frequent wins.

All three versions of the game are hosted and delivered via Relax Gaming. Spin City is a mobile application for Apple iOS and Android that is produced by Relax Gaming for Unibet. The Spin City version of Mystic Monkeys features both a trophy collection mechanism and coin triggered bonus features to offer players an enhanced experience.

James Watson, director of European sales for Genesis Gaming, said: “Our partnership with Relax and our proprietary development tools made it possible to offer this unique milestone for Unibet. We have four more games scheduled for ‘Triple Play’ release this Spring for Unibet players to enjoy.”
