Unibet confirms massive Mega Fortune jackpot

Unibet has confirmed that a 62-year-old Swedish player from Karlstad in Sweden hit the Net Entertainment progressive jackpot Mega Fortune on its Unibet.com site over the weekend, scoring a payment of Euro 5.6 million.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was playing the game alone at home on a laptop when he hit the big one, and is considering spreading some joy with the winnings by going on holiday with good friends and financially helping out his immediate family.

Mega Fortune currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest ever jackpot pay-out from an online slot game – Euro 17.9 hit in January 2013.
