VFL Wolfsburg signs Cashpoint as new betting partner

Gauselmann AG online sports betting and retail subsidiary CashPoint has become German professional football club VfL Wolfsburg‘s official betting partner in an initial two-and-a-half year agreement.

The Lower Saxony-based club plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system.

Michael Wondra, chief executive officer of CashPoint commented: “As part of the re-regulation of the German sports betting market, cooperation with the VfL is a timely positioning being the most popular league in Germany. VfL Wolfsburg – as one of the top names in German football – is the ideal partner for us. The team has great potential and is also studded with stars like Diego, Naldo and Ivica Olic. ”
