Wanghammar named managing director Pokerstars Casino

Online gambling veteran Bo Wänghammar has been named managing director of Rational Group’s PokerStars Casino business, effective February 1, 2017.
Wänghammar joins the group having served most recently as business development director for Mr Green & Co AB, prior to which he held the role of chief executive officer of Mr Green’s operating company, Mr Green Ltd. His varied career lists executive roles with bwin.party and Metro International.
Reporting directly to chief executive officer of Amaya Inc. and Rational Group, Rafi Ashkenazi, Wänghammar will assume responsibility for the overall performance of the PokerStars Casino business.
“We believe Bo is a great addition to Rational Group’s senior management team,” Ashkenazi said. “Not only does he have great experience in growing an online casino brand from the ground up, but he has management talent across a range of industries.”
