Legal online gambling in Delaware took another dive southwards in January 2015, delivering only $132,074 in revenues – a 22 percent decline compared to the poor December 2014 figures, and the third worst month experienced since online gambling operations were legalised late 2013.
The online poker vertical recorded a dip of 3 percent compared to the preceding month as the three licensed operators, Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, scored a mere $27,695 in
poker rake and fees, the second lowest total in 15 months of operation, following an almost 10 percent decline in December 2014.
Player registrations were up 12 percent at 287 during January 2015.
